Liliput – The World's First RoHS Energy Saving Lamp

With environmental concerns at the forefront of its design, Megaman have launched LILIPUT PLUS, the worlds first RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) energy saving lamp. Part of the LILIPUT range, these lamps have a green ring on the base to indicate their green identities. Megaman claim that the next generation LILIPUT lamps enhanced with the INGENIUM technology are currently the world's smallest energy-saving lamps in existence.

Besides eliminating the use of lead in their products, MEGAMAN^® lamps have also incorporated additional eco-friendly features, such as lead-free glass tubes and low mercury levels (less than 3mg per lamp) to further enhance their eco-friendly attributes.

The luminous intensity of the LILIPUT PLUS is enhanced with its unique lamp-tube configuration, resulting in illumination that projects in all directions to provide improved luminance and minimalized dark areas.

Each LILIPUT is equipped with a unique lamp-tube protector to help reduce the fragility of the lamp tubes. This design considers the safety aspects when installing or replacing these lamps where excessive handling of the lamp tube may be required.

Megaman are expanding the 'green' concept in the development of other products and hope to contribute even more towards sustaining a green environment through education and the production of eco-friendly products.
