Megaman Launch Ping Pong Series

The latest product launch from energy saving lamp specialists Megaman is the Ping Pong Series, a low energy lamp that has been designed to mimic the incandescent P45 in appearance. Ping Pong lamps utilise minimal wattage of only 5W and 7W to produce the equivalent lumen levels of 25W and 35W incandescent P45's.

The compact dimensions of the Ping Pong make it ideal for use in smaller, more decorative luminaires, whilst the specially designed translucent housing allows an all-round 360° illumination with excellent light output. With a lamp life of 15,000 hours, the Ping Pong lamp lasts 15 times longer than the equivalent incandescent. This is achieved through Megaman's Ingenium technology, an integrated circuit that enhances the overall performance of the Ping Pong lamps. The Ping Pong range also utilises protective silicon which covers the glass and enhances safety.

"The Ping Pong lamps were initially designed with the ROHS Directives in mind but they have evolved further with additional eco-friendly features, such as the use of lead-free glass and low mercury levels of less than 3mg per lamp" added John Murphy, Managing Director of Megaman UK Limited.
