MEGAMAN^® launches four new designs in Hong Kong International Lighting Fair

Making its presence felt for the 5th consecutive year at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair, Asia's largest lighting exhibition, MEGAMAN^® is ready to present to its visitors more innovative ideas in energy-saving lighting solutions.

With increasing concerns about the adverse effects of global warming, MEGAMAN^®, a pioneer in delivering environmentally-friendly products will be presenting its latest energy-saving lighting products and designs to its visitors. Visitors can experience how MEGAMAN^® makes a difference to their lives with its array of energy-saving products.

Highlights of the year is the MEGAMAN^® complete range of dimmable energy savers, DIMMERABLE, belonging to its already celebrated DIMMING Series. This ingenious solution offers users smooth linear dimmable bulbs with a dimming range from 10% to 100% via conventional dimmer switches.

Another highlights is the World's first compact fluorescent lamp with a G9 base, CFL G9. This miniscule energy saver offers a viable alternative to blazing hot halogen G9 bulbs as it offers a lengthier lamp life, generates less heat and consumes far less energy.

Other new products include the world's first plug-in-tube with an integrated electronic ballast – PLi. Its design concept is convenience and hassle-free matching of the lamp itself together with the ballast and lamp holder. Another new dish in the MEGAMAN^® menu is the linear fluorescent tubes with an integrated – Self-Ballasted Linear. The unique plug-and-play feature of these self-ballasted linear lamps allows multiple connections thanks to the extendable built-in socket, making it perfect for applications that require intense light output.

The Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2007 will be held from 28 to 31 October 2007 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The event will also highlight winning designs of the “1st Hong Kong Lighting Design Competition”. The objective of the competition is to enhance the design quality of the Hong Kong lighting industry with innovative ideas.
