MEGAMAN^® is the Winner in an Energy Saving Lamp Test Carried Out by "Stiftung Warentest"

According to recent test carried out by "Stiftung Warentest", the leading consumer safety group in Germany, MEGAMAN^® is the most successful brand in energy saving lamps. With an average score of 2.3, MEGAMAN^® models are therefore at the top, followed by Osram with 2.4 and Philips with 2.5.

In the test, Stiftung Warentest judges products by four criteria: resource conversation, quality of product, minimal use of toxic materials and additional environmental criteria relating to the long-term performance, economy and durability of products. Among the best selling energy saving lamps category which is 11 watt in E-27 big screw base, MEGAMAN^® gained a "hattrick": THREE MEGAMAN^® lamps (Compact Globe, Compact Classic 1 in light bulb shape and Liliput Plus in tubular shape) scored "Good" in terms of quality.

Even better, MEGAMAN^® received the fourth "Good" Rating with its Compact Reflector R50, 7 Watts, being the best energy saving reflector. Three other MEGAMAN^® energy saving lamps were rated "Satisfactory" in the quality dimension.
