MEGAMAN® Showcases Innovative Energy-efficient Lighting Products With the latest LED Technology at the Global Ministerial Environment Forum 2009

(Hong Kong – 12 Feb 2009) Leading the way in the eco lighting industry, MEGAMAN® continuously upgrades its lighting technology and injects eco-attributes to its product designs. It is now set to present its innovative energy-efficient lighting products with the latest LED Technology to the visitors of the Global Ministerial Environment Forum 2009.

Complementing its well-known energy saving reflector lamps with compact fluorescent technology, MEGAMAN® has advanced the currently available LED technology and developed a series of history-making LED reflectors, offering a total eco-lighting solution to users. Being a truly replacement for halogen lamps, the MEGAMAN® LED reflectors offer illumination in narrow beam angle, high colour rendering and over 90% lumen maintenance throughout its lamp life of 20,000 hours to create remarkable accent effects. They deliver high luminous intensity while using much less energy and generating much less heat than halogen lamps, helping to reduce CO2 emissionand tackle climate change.

Presenting a complete range of eco-lighting solutions, MEGAMAN® has taken an aggressive step to further minimize environmental impacts by implementing Liquid Mercury Free green manufacturing process in its CFL lamp production. MEGAMAN® employs Amalgam instead of liquid mercury in full range of its energy saving lamps, making all its products FREE from liquid mercury.
