MEGAMAN^® launched range of new technologies at EuroShop 2011

MEGAMAN^®, leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative, eco-friendly, energy saving lamps, announced the launch of a range of new technologies on its dramatic, architect designed trade stand at EuroShop 2011. These included the launch of:

A new 20W R9 LED PAR38 lamp ideal for the lighting of all meat, fresh fruit and vegetable display areas
A 6W LED MR16 to the European market
An AR111 range of LED low energy replacement for halogen reflectors

MEGAMAN^® R9 LED PAR38 lamp
The MEGAMAN^® R9 LED PAR38 lamp maximises the visual impact of meat, fresh fruit and vegetables by increasing the red colour rendition of the product to consumers and is easier to control that its White SON equivalents. Quick and simple to turn on and off, providing instantaneous, colour perfect luminance, the MEGAMAN^® R9 LED PAR38 lamp does not have the long warm-up or restart times associated with existing White SON light source technology.

MEGAMAN^® MR16-compatible LED reflector lamp
MEGAMAN^®'s family of MR16-compatible LED reflector lamps offer excellent lighting performance, heat dissipation and lumen maintenance thanks to the company's patented Thermal Conductive Highway^TM (TCH) technology. Designed for use in standard MR16 applications, the 6W MEGAMAN^® LED MR16 Reflector is compact, with a GU5.3-compatible lamp cap and a beam angle of 24 degrees for high quality accent lighting.

MEGAMAN^® LED AR111 range
With the same high quality light intensity and colour rendering of traditional AR111 spotlights (colour rendering of up to Ra92), but with no UV or IR light radiation or residual glare, the LED AR111 range (available in 8, 24 and 45 degree beam angles) is ideal for use in any retail outlet, reception area, hotel, restaurant, gallery or residential application. In addition, selected products in the MEGAMAN^® LED AR111 range can be used with the majority of 12V halogen transformers, making them a viable option in most retrofit applications.

Dramatic first appearance at EuroShop
The stand design incorporates the signature curves and creative use of light that architectural practice, Sybarite, employs through many of its projects. “This is our first appearance at EuroShop and we wanted to make a lasting impression to all who come to see us,” commented Fred Bass, managing director of Neonlite International Ltd, the brand owner of MEGAMAN^®. “Sybarite has worked on a number of striking projects in retail architecture and we’re delighted with the concept and delivery of the stand.”
