Neonlite moves to the next level with a business collaboration agreement with Acuity Brands, Inc.

(Hong Kong – 9 May 2011) Neonlite Electronic & Lighting (HK) Ltd. (“Neonlite”), a global leader in energy-efficient lighting, has announced a technology sharing and business collaboration agreement with Acuity Brands, Inc. (“Acuity Brands”). Neonlite, the brand owner of MEGAMAN^®, is a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative, eco-friendly and energy-saving CFL and LED lamps. Acuity Brands, is a North American market leader and one of the world’s leading providers of luminaires, lighting control systems and related products and services. The companies announced that their agreement is specific to the United States and Canadian lighting markets and that they are collaborating on a broad portfolio of high performance LED lamps targeted at demanding applications in a variety of vertical markets, including retail, hospitality and education. When available, the initial line of products will offer lighting designers and specifiers a true replacement for halogen and metal halide light sources with the full benefits of LED technology.
