MEGAMAN^® Launches New LED MR16 Reflectors in 8W Ideal Alternative for 50W Halogen MR16 in Highlighting Objects

(Hong Kong – 27 Oct 2011)  MEGAMAN^®, the market-leading designer and manufacturer of energy-saving lamps, today launches a new addition to its LED Reflector family - the 8W LED MR16 Reflector lamp, which offers exceptional lighting quality, longer rated life and smarter appearance.

The new 8W LED MR16 Reflector incorporates the company’s patented Thermal Conductive Highway^TM technology, which facilitates the lamp to dissipate heat efficiently, offering significant savings in energy consumption over traditional halogen lamps and a superior rated life of 25,000 hours.

Lighting quality of the new 8W LED MR16 Reflector is enhanced with its GU5.3-compatible lamp cap, ensuring beam angles of 24 degrees and 36 degrees for optimal accent lighting effect. Designed to replace the 50W Halogen MR16, the new 8W LED MR16 Reflector has a light output up to 1700cd, the same as the halogen counterparts. With excellent colour rendering up to Ra85, it is the perfect accent lighting fixture for track, recessed and wall-mounted lights.

As well as a sleek finishing, the 8W LED MR16 Reflector features a compact design and the reflector design offers smarter appearance and better beam angle control.
