MEGAMAN^®’s brand new LED AR111 Perfect replacement to halogen AR111

(Hong Kong – 15 Apr 2012) MEGAMAN^®, a leading innovator in energy-efficient lighting solutions, proudly presents at this year’s Light + Building, the next generation LED AR111 series designed to replace 75W halogen AR111 with remarkable lighting performance.

With the similar size as halogen AR111 lamps, the new MEGAMAN^® LED AR111 series in G53 base works with most conventional 12V halogen transformers, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including shops, showrooms, offices, hotels, restaurants and galleries. Available in 8, 24 and 45 degree beam angles, the new members of MEGAMAN^® AR111 reflectors range are suitable for general lighting purpose and special occasion to create desirable ambiences.

Thanks to MEGAMAN^®’s patented Thermal Conductive Highway^TM (TCH) technology, the LED AR111 lamps deliver thermal control for optimal performance, preventing the LED arrays and other components from deterioration. Other benefits with this technology include longer life with high lumen maintenance, higher efficiency and reliability.

Committed to innovating for better energy-efficient lighting solutions, MEGAMAN^® AR111 reflectors are able to deliver superb light output of up to 20,000cd with only 15W power consumption and an 8 degree beam angle, compatible to the lumen output of halogen AR111 in 75W. It helps reduce the energy bills without sacrificing the lighting quality. The light source also has an impressive lamp life of 40,000 hours that effectively reduces relamping costs.

To further enhance the durability, the new MEGAMAN^® AR111 reflectors are equipped with a glass cover on the front end. It acts as a shield against dust on the reflector, making maintenance easier.

In addition to this improved version, MEGAMAN^® AR111 product family also includes a 15W LED light source in GU10 base capable for linear dimming from 10 – 100% when the LED reflectors is connected to a leading edge dimmer. It is a perfect eco-alternative to its halogen equivalent that allows end-users to create their own ambient lighting.
