MEGAMAN^® Introduces New LED Classic and Candle Series with Sleek Finishing at Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2012

(Hong Kong – 27 Oct 2012) MEGAMAN^® announces the ground-breaking enhancement in thermal management for the new additions of MEGAMAN^® 5W LED Classic and 4W LED Candle series at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2012. With an extremely sleek finishing of heat sink, the new lamps not only deliver excellent heat dissipation, but also ensure durability and charm.

Both energy-efficient lamps are designed to replace incandescent lamps as they generate less heat and save up to 80% of energy, thanks to its excellent thermal management driven by the patented heat sink design. Both series are extremely compact in size and light in weight, just like an incandescent bulb, and what’s more, they have an average life of up to 25,000 hours which is 25 times longer than that of incandescent bulbs. They are also totally free from mercury and UV which ensures maximum safety for the consumers and contributes to a sustainable future.

Similar to other MEGAMAN^® LED lighting products, both LED lamps are capable of instant switch-on and linear dimming from 100% to 10% when the lamps are connected to a leading-edge dimmer. The 330 degree illumination also ensures even distribution of light, a quality that is ideal for general and decorative lighting purposes.

As the smallest LED Classic with the size of P45 in the market, the new MEGAMAN^® 5W LED Classic delivers a luminous flux of 270lm, giving warm and cool white light to an indoor setting.

The 4W LED Candle, with a lumen output of 200lm and an E14 base, can create an incandescent-like sparkling light effect, which adds to a special glittery glow to the crystals of chandeliers.
