MEGAMAN^® Supports WWF’s Earth Hour 2013 to Protect the Future of Our Planet

(Hong Kong – 11 March 2013) Climate change is one of the most critical environmental challenges facing people and nature today. As a committed designer, manufacturer and distributor of energy-efficient lamps, sustainable innovation is always a core value concern to MEGAMAN^®. To demonstrate its concern for climate change and sustainable development, MEGAMAN^® will sponsor the event to show its support for energy powered by nature as part of this year’s Earth Hour, organised by WWF. Earth Hour is a unique annual phenomenon that focuses the world’s attention on the Earth and how it needs protecting. Hundreds of millions of people will turn off their lights at 8:30 pm on 23 March 2013 for one hour all across the world in a symbolic show of support. Last year, the event met unprecedented success: more than 6,950 cities and towns across 152 countries and territories took part in the 2012 event to switch off the lights for one hour to show support.
