MEGAMAN^® Put Swarvoski in a New Light

(Hong Kong – 2 August 2013) Energy saving expert MEGAMAN^® has supplied its 4W LED MR11 reflector lamps for use throughout the display areas at Jersey based Rivoli Jewellers and the Swarovski franchise store. This retrofit installation has dramatically reduced heat output throughout both stores, ‘whilst reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.

As all of the jewellery display areas were illuminated, excessive heat output from the old 20W halogen lamps made both stores uncomfortable environments to work in so a local Jersey supplier was called in to resolve the problem. As all existing fittings were in good working order and did not need replacing, it was suggested a simple retrofit using MEGAMAN^®’s 4W LED lamps.

Part of MEGAMAN^®’s LED Professional Range, the 4W GU4 MR11 reflector lamps offer long rated life of up to 25,000 hours and are an ideal substitute for halogen, providing significant energy savings. With a 4000K colour temperature for the cool white version, the lamps give a crisp, white light with a 36° beam angle which proves excellent for use in merchandise display areas. The range is also available in a warm white version.

Following the installation, staff at Rivoli and Swarovski are delighted with the results. The overall temperature of both stores is much more consistent and staff and customers have commented that the new lighting has given the jewellery displays an added sparkle.
