MEGAMAN^® Unveils LED MR16 7.5W and 8W with Optical Reflector Technology

(Hong Kong – 27 Oct 2013) MEGAMAN^®, the leading innovator of eco-friendly lighting, today introduces the LED MR16 series to the Hong Kong International Light Fair 2013 (Autumn Edition), showcasing its various advantages over the traditional halogen lamps as a result of MEGAMAN^®’s cutting-edge optical reflector technology.

The MEGAMAN^® LED MR16 series is uniquely placed in the market as optical reflector design is adopted to control the optics and beam angle, which is not common in the lens-style LED market. This optical reflector design truly augments the quality of light to another level with less visual noise, making the light source more well-controlled, stable and sharper, but at the same time, offers a single point source resembling the halogen light effect.

As a true replacement to traditional halogen lamps, the MEGAMAN^® LED MR16 7.5W has a similar size to the halogen MR16 but offers 80% energy saving with Grade A+ energy label. High performance includes maximum luminous intensity up to 3200cd and luminous flux of 500lm. Dimmable version is available in 8W with 2900cd and 450lm light output.

With beam angle options available in 24 degree and 36 degree, and colour temperature options of 2800K warm white and 4000K cool white, the MEGAMAN^® LED MR16 series is perfect for accent lighting in many different interior settings. Other product benefits include: linear dimming function from 100% to 10%, long rated lamp life of 25,000 hours, excellent colour rendering of up to Ra85, instant start and excellent heat dissipation which means fewer times of maintenance will be needed.
