MEGAMAN^® Showcases Full Range of Metal Halide Replacement LEDs at EuroShop 2014

MEGAMAN^®, a leading provider of the latest in LED lamp technology, showcased its full range of Metal Halide replacement products at EuroShop 2014 as well as the MEGAMAN^® LED R9 Series and the company’s latest decorative lighting solutions and design partnerships.

Full range of metal halide replacement products

Over the course of the five day fair, thousands of visitors witnessed MEGAMAN^® showcase for the first time, its full range of Metal Halide replacement products. Used with Zenia^® Modena tracklights and Zenia^® Carlo and Conxento downlights, MEGAMAN^®’s TECOH^® LED modules beautifully highlighted the products on the stand’s central runway without the shortcomings of equivalent metal halide solutions.

Now available to replace 20W to 70W Metal Halide solutions, MEGAMAN^®’s TECOH^® MHx and RDx LED modules deliver luminous efficacy of up to 125 lumens per watt for high performance light, have instant start and hot re-strike capabilities and offer excellent colour consistency.

R9 LEDs acccentuate mouth-watering display

A stunning fresh produce displace was another popular attraction on stand, with MEGAMAN^® R9 LEDs ensuring the fresh meat, fruit and vegetables looked their sumptuous best throughout the fair.

The MEGAMAN^® R9 LED range is ideal for those looking to maximise the visual impact of meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, as it increases the red colour rendition of the product, making it look more vibrant and appetising. MEGAMAN^®’s R9 LED range provides instantaneous, colour perfect luminance and offers retailers the same high quality light intensity and colour rendering of more traditional White SON and fluorescent alternatives. It also minimises heat and UV radiation and heat dissipation via the company’s patented Thermal Conductive Highway™ (TCH) technology.

Creative decorative lighting and design partnerships

Three of MEGAMAN^®’s latest designer partnerships helped to add a sleek and luxurious feel to the stand, and gained plenty of interest from intrigued visitors.

Terence Woodgate renowned for his stripped down, elegant approach to design, with a meticulous attention to detail and manufacturing, displayed his new range of Solidⁱ pendants in marble and wood above the stand bar. Terence incorporated MEGAMAN^®’s dimmable 6W PAR16 GU10 into Solidⁱⁱ, demonstrating the perfect combination of sleek design and energy-saving LED lighting.

The innovative pendant luminaires (that are also available as surface mounted downlights) are pure geometric forms that have excellent glare control and a unique support design, enabling the pendants to be locked in exact vertical alignment.

As well as Woodgate’s range, MEGAMAN^® presented the Crown Brass LED lamp in partnership with Tom Dixon. Specially commissioned to combine with Dixon’s spectacular Cell Short Pendant and Wall Light, it shows the power of dramatic decorative lighting when combined with an aesthetic touch.

The MEGAMAN^® and Tom Dixon display perfectly framed the luxurious Made in Ratio Cowrie Rocker and Chair, which provided an elegant finishing touch to the stand. Launched in 2013 the all-in-one structure lounge chair was formed in faced Plywood and its design was inspired by the concave lines of sea shells.
