MEGAMAN^®’s Launches LED Clusterlite® Series - The High Brightness Commercial Solution at Super Low Energy Consumption

(Hong Kong – 27 October 2014) MEGAMAN^® is pleased to announce a new series of replacement lamps for the mercury tungsten blended lamps and metal halide lamps. The MEGAMAN^® LED Clusterlite^® lamps in the Smart Series 220-240V have both 27W and 35W options, delivering a total lumen output up to 4160lm. With its extreme high brightness at very low energy consumption, this series is most suitable for large-scale commercial and industrial applications, including bus and train terminus, exhibition halls, shopping malls, showrooms, factories, warehouses, street lighting and billboards.

The 27W and 35W LED Clusterlite^® lamps can perfectly replace 40W CFL and 60W CFL respectively, basically halving the energy used, and have a rated life of 25,000. Both LED Clusterlite^® lamps also replace the 120W mercury tungsten blended lamp and 180W mercury tungsten blended lamp respectively, representing 4 times and 5 times of energy saved respectively.

With a high luminous efficacy of up to 119lm/W, the new lamps produce visible lights that are twice as efficient as the traditional lamps. The higher this value, the better the conversion of energy used into light. Furthermore, when the lamp is broken, its safety feature - the shatterproof finishing - protects people from broken glass and other component; and there is no harmful UV and radioactive Kr85. While traditional lamps generate excess heat due to inefficiency of energy use, the LED Clusterlite^® lamps produce minimal heat which further helps to save business operators’ air-conditioning cost.
