MEGAMAN^®’s Surface-mounted LED Lamps RENZO and FONDA Offer Multiple Functions and Maximum Visual Comfort

(Hong Kong – 26 Nov 2015) MEGAMAN^® has launched two LED bulkhead series - RENZO for indoor applications and FONDA for outdoor applications. Designed to replace CFL luminaires, both RENZO and FONDA have exceptional lumen output, colour rendition and even distribution of light to offer maximum visual comfort. Both bulkheads feature a simplistic and contemporary design that will fit well in many settings.

Indoor Lighting: RENZO LED Bulkhead

RENZO, an energy-efficient integrated surface mounted LED luminaire, is an ideal alternative to traditional ceiling and wall mounted compact fluorescent luminaires (CFL). It has a wide range of lumen packages to perfectly replace 1x18W up to 2x26W CFL. The built-in opal PMMA diffuser enables every RENZO lamp to deliver evenly distributed lighting and visual comfort.

A wide range of distinctive models are also available for different applications. For example, there is a built-in microwave motion sensor option, allowing automatic light on/off when entering and leaving the room. As this motion sensing option detects body movements, it is ideal for applications in common areas such as staircases and corridors. Another version with IP44 protection for places with high humidity, such as kitchen and balcony etc is also available. 

From hotels, bathrooms, kitchens, corridors to residential applications, RENZO’s unobtrusive and understated design style blends well with all kinds of interior design.

Outdoor Lighting: FONDA Waterproof LED Bulkhead

Made with corrosion free tough polycarbonate vandal resistant construction, FONDA meets IP66 and IK10 requirements and is UV resistant, making it a perfect replacement for conventional outdoor CFL luminaires in applications such as corridors an patios. Similar to RENZO, FONDA also has a built-in microwave motion sensor option for automatic on/off and hence further energy reduction. It has IP66 protection from water, dust, and even the smallest of insects. Available in oval and round shapes and with white, silver and black colour options, FONDA is an attractive option for a wide spectrum of different lighting and interior designs.

Suitable for surface mounting on solid walls or ceilings, both RENZO and FONDA are much more efficient alternatives to CFL luminaires, delivering an outstanding 76 lm/W system efficiency. Thanks to MEGAMAN^®’s patented LED technology, their rated life is up to 25,000 hours, which largely reduces the frequency of replacement and hence lowers maintenance costs, especially for high traffic areas where convenience and continuity of service is crucial to customer satisfaction.
