MEGAMAN^® Sponsored “Nightscape 2050” by LPA: A Dialogue between Cities-Light-People in the Future

(Hong Kong – 15 Jan 2016) MEGAMAN^® sponsored ‘Nightscape 2050’ Travelling Exhibition covering Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan as organized by Lighting Planners Associates (LPA). The exhibition aimed to explore the interactions between people, light and cities in the year 2050; and highlight the importance of light and optical technologies in our daily lives, for the future, and for the development of society. It was a unique opportunity to inspire, educate, and connect the citizens of the world on a global scale.

‘Nightscape 2050’ in Hong Kong has been started during the period from 8^th to 30^th January 2016 at Artis Tree, Taikoo Place. The exhibition featured various sections of a light journey where you can learn and experience different forms of light and lighting in an interactive way.  It also showcased the Hong Kong Nightscape from present to future, and shared the inspiring thoughts from designers and kids about nightscape in 2050.

The grand opening was held on 9 January to which MEGAMAN^® was invited as one of the local sponsors. A Panel Discussion was also held on the same date whereas architects and landscape designers are invited to express their wonderful ideas towards Hong Kong future nightscape.
